5. Safe Drive-Away Time

Avoid car washes, especially those with high-pressure soap and water.
Leave one window slightly cracked (about ½ inch) to relieve interior pressure that could pop the seal.
Avoid slamming doors, and don’t drive on bumpy roads if possible.
You can gently hand-rinse your vehicle without soap, but avoid scrubbing near the glass edges.
